I was notified today we were on the Recommended page under Musicians. SEE THAT WASNT SO HARD! Since I saw that I’ve been scrambling around trying to find every bit of video we’ve taken of us from our phones while writing random riffs in the van while we were on the road, us writing and jamming the new songs full band, videos of us in our house with our photobooth on our macbooks, us getting stuff ready and recording for pre production, etc.

So while I put the video update together..If you haven’t RECOMMEND US so we can get higher up on the page! Give this post a ton of notes(likes and reblogs), post about us on Twitter(@haveyouheard). Why? Because you’ll also hear a clip of a new song.

Haven’t updated in a while, figured we should do that.

So things have been pretty stressful over in the HYH camp, nonetheless they’ve been great. School has consumed me and Alex’s lives so we are trying not to fail as well as staying active with the band. When school and other things are destroying my life, I’ve been writing like a beast for our new record, expanding on new and old ideas. The new stuff has a lot of emotion so be ready for that. We are all really excited.

Sol has been super busy recording our good friends in Farewell Fighter’s new record. We’ve been going out to the studio a bunch and hanging out with them while they’re recording. It is sounding prettyyyy beast so be ready for when their record drops in late January.

And about shows. We have one Tuesday at Exit/In in Nashville, we have a short set but it should still be a fun show. Come out if you can. And playing out of town more..yeah we need to do that more? We will in the new year. We are in the process of trying to find a good booking agent. If you know any good ones, tell them shoot us an email! Haveyouheardrock@gmail.com We are trying to be on the road as much as possible in 2011.

Here’s a video of me(Matt) and Jeff with our new guitarist tonight. We’ve been jamming and writing some brand new music. It’s prettyy sweet. We are nothing short of stoked on all of this writing. Everything seems to be moving smoothly and a lot faster than me and Jeff would have thought. Who knows, we might record some new demoed out stuff soon and put it out?
